5 MANAGING DOCUMENTS
Searching the LDAP server for recipients
Follow the steps below to search the registered LDAP server for recipients.
To search the LDAP server for recipients, an administrator must set up the directory service by using TopAccess in the
administrator mode. For details, refer to the
TopAccess Guide .

Click [Destination Setting] to open the Recipient List page.

Click [Search].
The Search Contact page is displayed.

Specify the search condition.
1) Select the directory service name that you want to search in the [Directory Service Name] box.
2) Enter the search terms in the fields that you want to search.
3) Click [Search].
TopAccess will start searching the LDAP server for recipients, and the Search Address List page will display the
results.
y If you select the model name of the equipment in the [Directory Service Name] box, you can search the
address book of the equipment for recipients.
y TopAccess will search for the recipients that match the entries.
y Fill in at least one of the fields to perform a wild-card search.
