Connection to system
Communication with the MSP is established using either a Peak System PCAN interface or EFI
Technology’s EFP02 and EFT20 CAN communication interfaces.
OBR or your wiring loom manufacturer can provide you with the cable suitable for your installation
and selected connectors.
The mating communication connector required is a Deutsch ASL6-06-05 SN connector:
- Pin 1 = CAN L
- Pin 2 = CANH
- Pin 3 = Ground
- Pin 4 = Battery power
- Pin 5 = Optional wake-up signal to OBR Master Switch
Connect the CAN interface to your PC and as soon as the CAN interface is plugged into the CAN
connector, it will automatically establish communication with the MSP.
