Duty Cycle Maps
Duty cycle maps are designed with variables on both X and Y axis.
Use the drop down menus to select the channels used for the X and Y axis of the table.
It is not necessary to use the full table and all breakpoints in the maps nor to use both axis's.
Using a two-axis calibration, start filling the map out from upper left hand corner.
Using a single axis calibration, select the X or Y-axis as the input reference, using only the first row
or column of the other axis.
The map can be imported and exported to Excel.
An easy way to create a duty cycle map is to follow this procedure:
Open the duty cycle map
Click “Copy”
Paste into Excel
Modify table
Mark the table and copy
Return to the tool and click past
Set frequency in Hz; minimum applied value is 30 Hz, maximum value is 15 kHz
Please note that LP PWM1 and LP PWM2 must use the same frequency!
Frequency Maps
Frequency maps are single axis maps; the duty cycle percentage must be kept constant.
Please note that frequency mapping is only available on LP PWM3 and LP PWM4.
Use the drop down menus to select the channel used for the single axis of the table.
