2. Increase the amount of liquid
3. Release the pressure inside (if there is any) and redo the fitting of the handles by pushing
the plate into the correct position.
4. Clean the rubber gasket.
It happens:
Steam escapes from underneath the cover.
Possible reason:
1. The rubber gasket is not clean.
2. The rubber gasket is worn out.
Solution:
1. Clean the rubber gasket.
2. Replace the rubber gasket to a new. The Rubber gasket counts as wear parts and is not
covered by the warranty. These parts can be ordered from OBH Nordica spare parts 08-445
79 00.
It happens:
If soup or steam escapes from around the pressure regulator
Possible reason:
1. The heating temperature is too high.
2. The pressure cooker is filled over its maximum capacity.
Solution:
1. Decrease the heat.
2. Fill only the pressure cooker with liquid and food to MAX marking on the inside measurement
scale.
It happens:
If indicator rod does not move down and release system do not open.
Possible reason:
1. There is still pressure in the cooker.
Solution:
1. Turn off the heating source. Let the pressure release completely by setting the pressure
regulator to position.
It happens:
If opening and closing system does not work and the lid can not be locked.
Possible reason:
1. The mark “O” and the triangle are not aligned properly.
2. The rubber gasket is not in correct position
Solution:
1. Lift off the lid and use the markings to make the lid and body handles align properly.
