MAINTENANCE
There is no periodic maintenance required by the NV9601 X-Y Control Panel, other
than periodic dusting or cleaning of the front panel to keep grime and dust from
accumulating on or around the buttons.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the panel does not seem to be working correctly:
1. Disconnect and reconnect power.
2. Disconnect and reconnect the Ethernet cable.
3. Reprogram the panel’s configuration as explained under
"Configuring the NV9601
Panel" on page 2-2
.
If the panel still does not function correctly:
1. Observe the Initialization Routine described below for clues about the nature of
the problem.
2. Check the Firmware Menu to verify whether the hardware and firmware are
operating.
3. If the panel still does not function correctly, follow the procedure for
"Ordering
Replacement Assemblies" on page 4-6
.
Initialization Routine
The control panel goes through an initialization routine when it is first powered on. This
routine consists of the following series of displays that can help you isolate troubles.
The first display, shown below, indicates that the panel is trying to acquire an IP address
and shows that the panel recognizes it own ID (<x> in the example below).
