Enter the PIN, which will appear on the display as asterisks below the instructions.
Press [8] (Done) to return to the first Panel display shown above and change the Panel
ID or press [7] (Cancel). If an invalid PIN is entered, a BAD PIN message appears.
When a new Panel ID is saved, the panel automatically restarts and assumes its
configuration as assigned in the Configuration Manager.
If you just selected this menu item to view the Panel Name, Panel ID, or configuration
file name, press [7] (Cancel) to return to the Menu display or press [Menu] to return to
the most recent selection display.
Illumination
To view or change the current level of illumination for the buttons and/or the display,
press [4] from the Menu display. The display as shown below appears. Below the
display, [1] through [3] light and [7] and [8] remain lit. If you are just viewing the
current illumination levels, press [7] to return to the Menu display or press [Menu] to
return to the most recent selection display.
Button Illumination
To change the button illumination level(s):
1. Press the line selection button [1] or [2] for the level you wish to change. A small
square box appears on line with your selection on the far right side of the display,
[Page Up], [Page Dn], and the Category buttons go On (light) and all other
buttons go Off.
2. Press [Page Up] to increase the illumination or [Page Dn] to decrease it. You can
preview the level changes by watching the category buttons. Note the following:
• Changes are in 10% increments.
• The High level must be at least 10% higher than the Low level. For example, if
High is 60%, Low cannot be higher than 50%. Also High cannot exceed 100%.
• Low and High settings are for both green and amber.
3. Repeat for the other level if desired.
4. Press [8] to save the changes, or [7] to cancel them and return to the Menu display.
