Column 2
Column 2 (
Figure 3-1
) shows the preset sources for the selected levels. A different
Preset may be selected for each level. If a Preset is not available or possible, the field
contains dashes (- - -).
The levels selected are: HDVideo, AES 1/2, AES 3/4, TimeCode, and Control.
Dashes (- - -) appear on the SDVideo, AnVideo, and AnAudio lines to indicate they are
not defined for this destination’s configuration.
VTR-02 is the preset source device for the destination device Monitor 1.
Note the following:
• If a source is locked, an L appears to the left of that source.
• If a source is protected, a P appears for that source.
• If a level on a source is path locked or path protected (for use with NVISION data
routers), an I appears in the status column for that level.
Column 3
Column 3 shows the status of the sources in use. The L indicates VTR-01 is locked to
Monitor 1. The + (plus sign) indicates additional information is available. Note that if
the status is unknown or unavailable, the field contains asterisks (* * *).
Column 4
Column 4 shows the mnemonic for the levels in the level set for the destination device
identified in Column 1. Note that a device’s level set is determined through the
Configuration Manager.
• If a level on the destination device is protected, a P appears next to that device.
• If a level on the destination device is locked, an L appears next to that device.
• If a level on a destination device is path locked or path protected (for use with
NVISION data routers), an I appears to the left of that level.
q
Note: Path Lock or path Protect refers to an automatic system Lock or Protect. A path
Lock or path Protect is applied to any device connected to a locked or protected port on an
NVISION data router.
