Performing a Take (Multi-Destination Mode)
Unlike an X-Y Mode take where source and destination selection can be in any order, a
Multi-Destination take requires that the destination be selected prior to source selection.
To perform a Multi-Destination take:
1. Ensure the [X-Y/Mult] button is in Multi-Destination mode (amber).
2. Select a destination:
a. Press [Page Up]/[Page Dn], if necessary, to display the desired destination.
b. Press [1] - [8] below the display corresponding to the line where the desired
destination appears.
3. Select the source:
a. If not already selected, press [Src]. All buttons appropriate for source selection
go On (light) in low intensity green.
b. Press [(category)] (e.g., VTR). VTR appears in the middle of Column 1.
c. Press [(number)]. The selected number for the device appears in Column 1.
The preset will appear in Column 2 on the line of the selected destination.
4. Select additional destinations and sources as desired. (Note that if you toggle a
destination, its preset field is cleared. In Multi-Destination mode, destination
selections are mutually exclusive unless [Hold] is on, so you don’t need to toggle
off the destination.)
5. Press [Take] to complete the switch.

Note: In Multi-Destination mode, destination selections are mutually exclusive
unless [Hold] is active (Hi amber).
