5.7.2 .1 TS(x) Selection for High/Low Limit
Figure 99 - TS(x) High/Low Limit Settings
Purpose:
The TS(x) check box allows user to select which sensors are used for High/Low Temperature Limiting.
Touch the check box corresponding to the temperature sensor to enable temperature limiting.
5.7.2 .2 High/Low Limit Cut-out Alarm Setpoints
Figure 100 - High/Low Limit Cut-out Alarm Setpoints
Procedure:
Touch the corresponding
Enable
check box to turn on/off the corresponding Alarm indication and touch
the corresponding
Latch
check box to indicate a latching or a non-latching type of alarm. When the
latching is selected then the alarm needs to be manually reset each time the corresponding condition
occurs.
The Setpoint values are for both High/Low Limit Cut-out and alarm.
Value
Description
Default
Value
Range
High Limit
This value defines the High Limit Cut-out Setpoint
for each of the 3 temperature sensors where the
corresponding temperature sensor has High Limit
Cut-out enabled. This overrides the Control Tem
-
perature Setpoint value and forces the controller
output off if any one of the corresponding tem-
perature sensors exceeds the High Limit Cut-out
temperature setting.
700
-200°C to 700°C
Low Limit
This value defines the Low Limit Cut-out Setpoint
for each of the 3 temperature sensors where the
corresponding temperature sensor has Low Limit
Cut-out enabled. This overrides the Control Tem
-
perature Setpoint value and forces the controller
output off if any one of the corresponding tem-
perature sensors falls below the Low Limit Cut-out
temperature setting.
-70°C
-200°C to 700°C
Deadband (Low
Limit only)
The hysteresis band used by the control algorithm
for the Low-Limit setpoint when the non-latching
mode is being used.
3°C
1°C to 50°C
