2.6.6   Ethernet

An Ethernet communications connection can be made via the RJ45 connector using a CAT 5E cable. The 
RJ45 port is available at the top of the unit as shown in the following figure.

2.6.7   Profibus

Profibus connectivity is available only on specific Elexant 4020i variants. 

 

The connection is made via the DB9 connector at the bottom of the unit using a certified Profibus 

 

connector and cable.

2.6.8   USB Connector

The USB connector on the front of the unit can be used to import/export User Settings to simplify the 
commissioning process and for updating the controller firmware.
