Used to alarm heater resistance levels that
have increased from the nominal resistance
setting by more than the selected amount.
This will also indicate an open or a high
resistance connection. It may also be used to
monitor a failed series-type cable or connec-
tion in 3-phase applications while minimizing
nuisance alarms created by voltage fluctua

tions.

Low Trace Resistance
Deviation - Setpoint
Used to alarm heater resistance levels that
have fallen below the nominal resistance set-
ting by more than the selected amount.

In the case of a 3-phase controller; L1, L2 and L3 buttons are displayed in the top right corner of the
page. Touching any of these buttons, displays the corresponding settings for that phase. Enabling the
Balanced 3 Phase
option disables individual High/Low Trace Resistance Alarms for phases 2 and 3, and
uses the Phase 1 settings for all three phases.

5.9 Alarms
The Alarm page displays current active alarms and allows the user to select and reset a specified alarm
or all alarms.
Monitored parameters trigger an alarm if they move beyond the defined setpoints. Important events that
impact the function of the device, will also trigger alarms. See Section 3.5.3 for more details.
