What is i- α ppli?
By downloading i- α ppli from sites, the FOMA
terminal can be made much more useful in
many ways. There are i-
α ppli from which you
can directly save data to the Phonebook and
Schedule, as well as i-
α ppli that can be linked
with the Data Box for saving/loading images.
Also, Mega i-
α ppli is supported, enabling you
to enjoy games that require large amounts of
memory, such as high resolution 3D games
and full-featured role playing games.

FOMA version”.

Some i- α ppli cannot be used when 2in1 is set to
either the B or Dual mode.
Downloading i- α ppli from
a Site
You can download i- α ppli software from sites
and save it.
 You can save up to 100 i- α ppli software (except “iD
設定アプリ ”), each software maximum 1M bytes.
The number of i- α ppli software that can be saved
may decrease depending on the data to be saved.
 When downloading ends in failure due to the radio
wave condition, the software is not saved.
 When downloading i- α ppli with mail, software
cannot be downloaded if there are already five mail
folders for i-
α ppli with mail, if software using the
same mail folder already exists, or if the Personal
data lock of mail/message is set.

While displaying the site, select the
software and press

The software is downloaded and the screen for
conforming whether to run the software appears.
W h e n t h e s c r e e n fo r c o n f i r m i n g w h e t h e r t o
download the software appears
Select [Yes] or [Download].

Select [Yes] and press .
The downloaded software is started.
Depending on software, after downloading is
completed, the screen for setting the software (NW
setting, Stand-by display, Location information, and
Program guide) or changing the folder where to
save to appears.

Some settings are applied to the Individual set
(NW setting, Stand-by NW setting, etc.) (P.222).
To connect to the network automatically when the
software is started
Select [NW setting] → [Yes].
To set the software for the i- α ppli stand-by display
Select [Stand-by disp] → [Yes].
To use the location information
Select [Location usage] → [Yes].
To set the software to start using the Program guide
key when you watch 1Seg
Select [Program guide] → [Yes]. The software
a l re a d y s e t t o t h e P ro g r a m g u i d e k e y i s
canceled.

The software can be set to the Program guide
key is only one of the software that is able to
work with 1Seg.
To change a folder where to save to
Select [Select folder] → a folder.
