When the crusher jaws are opened, oil from the
excavator’s control valve (k7) is directed through the
boosters to the rod ends of the cylinders (c11). A
pilot signal from this flow is sent to open the pilot
check valve assemblies (c20) which allows oil to be
pushed out of the base end of the cylinders as the
cylinder rods retract. There is no boost actuation on
the jaw open cycle.
