RECORDER’S MENU
The DVR supports two-way audio communication between a local system and a PC running RAS.
Highlighting the box next to
Remote Audio Channel
and press the
button, therefore allowing to
select the channel sending audio stream to the remote site. Selecting
Select From RAS
will send audio
of the channel selected from RAS.
Highlight Use
SSL for Transferring Data
and press the
button to toggle between On and Off. When it
is On, the security of data except video and audio transmitted for remote monitoring or remote
recording can be enhanced by using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) authentication. When using the
SSL function, the DVR cannot be connected with a remote program or a network keyboard which does
not support the SSL function.

After selecting
LAN
tab, the following setup screen appears:
Highlight box next to
Type
field and press
button. You can select type of the network configuration
from:
Manual
,
DHCP and ADSL (with PPPoE).
Select desired type and press
button.
Select
Manual
from the
Type
to set up LAN parameters manually. You will need to get the appropriate
IP Address, Gateway, DNS and Subnet Mask from your network administrator.
The factory default LAN settings are:
IP Address:
192.168.1.129
Gateway:
192.168.1.254
Subnet Mask:
255.255.255.0
