Using Safety Stop Key & Clip
Attach the safety clip to part of your clothing before each workout, and attach the red STOP magnetic
key to the key dock of the console to start the safety power switch. Make sure the clip is secure
and will not become detached during operation.
For emergency stop, tug the lanyard to disengage the safety stop key and trip the safety power
switch.
Important: To prevent unauthorized use, remove the safety key and safety clip after your
workout and store it in a safe place. The treadmill cannot operate unless the safety key is
attached to the display console.
Target Heart Rate (THR) Zone
The most common method for calculating your target heart rate is to find your max. heart rate:
220—Your Age = Maximum heart rate.
Your Target Heart Rate (THR) Zone is a percentage of your maximum heart rate. You may find the
chart below helpful for a quick reference.
