Use the arrow keys (+/-) of SPEED to increase or decrease the speed of running belt between
0.5MPH to 12MPH (0.5KPH ~ 20KPH) by 0.1MPH (or 0.1KPH) increment. Or to use the quick
SPEED keys in increments of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 for single touch control.

Use the arrow keys (+/-) of INCLINE to increase or decrease the incline between 0% to 15% by
0.5% increment. Or to use the quick INCLINE keys in increments of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% for
single touch control.

At the end of that segment, the pre-programmed parameters will be restored.

A statistical summary will scroll across the Message Window (on the bottom of the display)
showing total Distance, Average Pace, Average Heart Rate, Calories Burned.
The importance of the Warm Up and Cool Down
Warm Up
The warm up will limber your muscles and prepare them for more strenuous exercise. You will
automatically enter a 3 minutes Warm Up period, speed at 1MPH (1.0KPH) and incline at 0%, and
MANUAL program appears.
Use arrow keys (+/-) or Quick Keys to adjust the speed and incline.
Press ENTER to bypass the Warm Up.
Cool Down
Never stop exercising suddenly! A cool down period helps to lower your heart rate and minimize
muscle stiffness or soreness. When you complete a program, you will automatically enter a 3
minutes Cool Down period, speed at 1MPH (1.0KPH) and incline at 0%, and MANUAL program
appears.
Use arrow keys (+/-) or Quick Keys to adjust the speed and incline.
Press ENTER to bypass the Cool Down.
Note:
A statistical summary will scroll across the Message Window (on the bottom of the
display) showing Total Distance, Average Pace, and Total Elevation Gain in feet.
After the cool down, repeat the stretching exercises described at the beginning of this
chapter to loosen and relax your muscles.
