To remove a PCMCIA expansion module:

Release the module by pushing in on the PCMCIA eject button located to the
right of the slot (see illustration below).

Gently pull the module out of the slot.
PCMCIA Indicator
The tri-color PCMCIA indicator performs functions in accordance with the
expansion module that is used. For example, after inserting the optional PCMCIA
expansion module, the PCMCIA indicator will display the status for the LAN and
the PCMCIA module, as defined in the table on page 78.
