Reference for Passport 4460 Hardware
E&M Voice Expansion Modules (Dual and Quad Channel)
The E&M Voice Expansion Modules supports the connection of a Passport 4400
to the E&M trunk of a PBX. It is offered in both Dual and Quad Channel modules,
and it supports the following:
•
Two methods of analog signaling: Immediate (DC) and Wink Start.
•
Three type of E&M signaling: Types I, II and V (software selectable), and
Type IV supported through Type II.
•
Two types of wiring methods: two-wire and four-wire.
•
Dial Pulse (10 pps) and DTMF detection and regeneration.
The Passport 4400 can support two E&M modules.
