In the 4-wire E&M, T/R is transmit and T1/R1 is receive.

The indicator functions for the E&M Voice Expansion Modules (Dual and Quad 
Channel) are identical. All indicator lights for the E&M Voice Expansion Module 
are green. Refer to the chart below for definition
