Removing the Applicator Needle
To remove the needle, do the following steps.
1. You should have already done the following, in this sequence:
-
General Disassembly , given earlier in this section.

Removing the Nozzle Plate Assembly , given earlier in this section.
-
Removing the Seal Pack , given earlier in this section.
-
Cleaning the Applicator , given earlier in this section.
2. Remove the two screws (4) holding the heater block in place and remove
the heater block.
3. Using the special needle removal tool, rotate the needle (3)
counterclockwise to remove it from the piezo actuator (1). The spring (2)
will come out of the applicator when the needle is removed.
NOTE: The P/N 1125092 needle removal tool is included with the
P/N 1126067 needle replacement kit.
