Outlet Valve
Use the following procedure to repair or replace the
outlet valve.
Disassemble the Outlet Valve
1. See Figure 13. Disconnect the line from the
fitting (2).
2. Remove the screws (4) securing the outlet valve (3)
to the metering cylinder (1).
3. Remove the O-ring (5) and check it for damage.
Replace if necessary.
4. See Figure 14. Remove the screws (1) securing the
air cylinder cap (2) to the valve body (5). Remove
the spring (3).
5. Using a small screwdriver, carefully remove the old
packing cartridge (4).

Assemble the Outlet Valve
1. See Figure 14. Insert the new packing cartridge (4)
into the valve body (5).
2. Install the spring (3).
3. Install the air cylinder cap (2) using the screws (1).
Tighten the screws to 75–80 in.-lb (8.5–9 N
•
m)
4. See Figure 13. Lubricate the O-ring (5) with synthetic
oil and insert it into the metering cylinder (1).
5. Install the outlet valve (3) to the metering cylinder (1)
using the screws (4). Tighten the screws to securely.
6. Connect the line to the fitting (2).
