Installation
WARNING
Allow only qualified personnel to perform the
following tasks. Follow the safety instructions in this
document and all other related documentation.
1. Find a suitable location near your workstation. The
shop floor at the installation site should be clean and
level. See Figure 3 for dimensions.
2. Connect a minimum of 60 psi (4.14 bar) of clean
shop air to a filter regulator input.
3. See Figure 4. Use customer-supplied bolts and
washers to mount the the SDS meter. M10 x 4
mounting holes (4) are provided.
4. The metering cylinder can be rotated in 90-degree
increments by removing the screws (3) securing the
hydraulic section to the drive train (2). Tighten the
screws to 82 ft-lb (111 N
•
m) when securing the
metering cylinder to the drive train.
5. Connect the following:
S
water circulation lines from the temperature
control unit to the fittings (9)
S
material hose to the material inlet fitting (7)
S
pressure transducer cable to the pressure
transducer (5)
S
servo connectors (1) to a J-box or
extension cables
S
air lines from the pneumatic manifold to
the fittings (8)
S
Heated Versions—cable from the controller to
the cordset (10)
