Pass the front end of the fan-
folded paper through the printer
as shown in the illustration.
If the optional simplified cutter unit has
been installed:
Also pass labels through the simplified
cutter unit following the path shown in the
illustration above.

Check that there is not an
excessive gap between the
holders on either side and the
paper itself.
If the holders are not close enough to the
fan-folded paper, squeeze the label holder
tabs to release them, and slide the holders
closer to the paper to eliminate the gap.
Now check that the labels advance smoothly
and in a straight path.

Lock the arm unit.
Lower the arm unit. Then press where it
says "PUSH” on either side to lock the arm
unit.
If the arm unit does not lock the first time,
press “PUSH" again to lock it.
If the gap between
the label holder and
the label roll is too
large, the labels may
drift, resulting in
abnormal printing.
Be sure to pass the
labels under the roller
and then between the
label sensors.
