BEFORE OPERATION

Cut fan-folded paper insertion
notches in the top cover and
remove the cuttings.

Cut eight notches in the top cover using a
cutting pliers; remove the cuttings.

Replace the top cover.

Position the mounting hooks on the rear of
the top cover in their corresponding slots on
the printer to secure the cover.

Installing fan-folded paper

Press the power switch to turn
off the printer.

The POWER light goes off and the power
shuts off.

Open the top cover.

Press the left and right triangle marks on the
top cover to unlock and open the cover.

Open the top cover
gently. Opening the
cover abruptly or
extending it beyond
90 degrees to the
plane of the printer
itself may cause the
cover to come loose
and fall.

Be sure to turn off the
power. Not doing so
may result in
personal injury or an
equipment
malfunction.

Be careful to avoid
cutting your fingers.
