BATTERY
A battery icon displays as a vertical bar graph to indicate
the battery charge level and voltage values.
DC CURRENT
The arrows between the battery and inverter icon(s) indicate
the direction of the DC current flow. The DC current or
amperage value is also displayed.
INVERTER STATUS
The box(es) underneath Inverters will display the current
state of the inverter, including bulk, absorb, or float charge.
DISC
The "Disc" button is used to disconnect 12 Volt house
battery power from most 12 Volt components, which can be
used when the coach is placed in storage.
In King Aire and Essex coaches, if this function is selected from either the front or bedroom HMS365, it will not
disconnect the SilverLeaf components in the driver and passenger area.
The front HMS365 will stay powered on to operate the battery disconnect, keyless entry, and the coach's WiFi and Rozie
Telematics system, allowing continued access to the coach via the MyRozie website.
CHARGER STATUS
This shows the current charger status, which can be displayed as one of the following:
• Standby: No AC current is present
• Bulk: First stage of charging (aggressive charge)
• Absorb: Charging at a value the batteries will accept
• Float: Reduced charge to finish or top off a battery
IMPORTANT
The King Aire is the only Newmar coach with two inverters or chargers. A blank space will be displayed where
there is only one inverter (Mountain Aire, London Aire, New Aire, and Essex models), and there will not be a
status displayed or a settings button for charger #2.
XANTREX INVERTER #1 SETTINGS
The Inverter #1 Settings screen is accessed from the DC Power main screen by touching the Settings button beside the
Charger #1 Status and is used configure the inverter and charger status and set the charging parameters.
