AUTOFILL
Pressing the AutoFill button will turn the fresh water tank AutoFill feature ON or OFF to activate the water fill option. The
left and right indicators are highlighted when the AutoFill feature is ON. When hooked up to a city water supply, it
constantly replenishes the fresh water level to 100 percent. When the water supply decreases to 90 percent, a sensor in
the water tank sends a signal to a valve that opens, allowing water into the tank until the level reaches 100 percent. The
same sensor sends another signal to the valve to shut the water supply off.
PUMP
Pressing the Pump button will turn the fresh water pump ON or OFF. The left and right indicators are highlighted when
the pump is ON.
AUTOGEN
Pressing the AutoGen button will select the
AGS (Auto Generator Start) Control
screens. The left and right indicators are
highlighted when the AutoGen feature is enabled. The Auto Genset button indicator color coding includes:
• Yellow = The AGS is disabled.
◦ The generator was manually started or stopped.
◦ The generator hood was open when the AGS was in Standby/Activated mode.
• Light Blue = AGS system is in Standby/Activated mode.
◦ The Auto Charger AGS is in Standby/Activated mode
OR
◦ The Climate AGS is on Standby/Activated mode.
• Green = Both of the AGS systems are activated.
◦ This means both the AutoCharger and the Climate AGS are in Standby/Activated mode.
This feature can be set to turn on the generator automatically, if shore power is not available, in order to maintain the
charge of the house and chassis battery banks. Newmar recommends this feature only be enabled if the coach is stored
outside.
BLOCK HEATER
Pressing the Block Htr button toggles the block heater relay ON or OFF. The left and right indicators are highlighted in
yellow when the load is being shed or shut down due to lack of available power. The indicators are highlighted in blue
when the block heaters are ON. The block heater keeps the engine warm to assist with starting when the outside
temperature is cool or below freezing. The plug in the engine compartment must be plugged into the block heater
receptacle. The block heater feature will only work if the coach is plugged into shore power (preferably 30 or 50 amp
service) or running on generator power.
LOCKS
The Locks button allows you to lock the entry door and the baggage door compartments. The left and right indicators are
highlighted when the locks become enabled. The security system will also chirp when this occurs. This button is only
available on Essex and King Aire models.
VIRTUAL KEYPAD
The Keypad button will take you to the
Shade and Light Control
screen, where you can control the ceiling lights, shades,
awnings, and the TV lift from the SilverLeaf screen. This button is only available on Essex and King Aire models.
DIM
This button controls the brightness of the screen. A dim bedroom display screen may be preferable at night so it does
not inhibit sleep.
CAMERA
The camera button may be available on the HMS365 displays in Essex, King Aire, and New Aire coaches with the 360
Camera option. The selectable cameras include:
• Rear exterior cameras
• Right side exterior cameras
• Left side exterior cameras
• Right and left mid-ship exterior cameras (mounted near the security lights)
