Operating Instructions
1. Never leave surface units unattended at high settings.
Boilovers cause smoking and greasy spillovers
that may ignite. Heat oils slowly on low or medium
settings.
2. Always turn hood ON when cooking at high heat or
when cooking flambeing food.
3. Clean ventilating fans frequently. Grease should not
be allowed to accumulate on fan or filter.
Ventline Range Hood Operation (Models: S0721 and
S0730 Series)
This article provides basic operation instructions for a Ventline Range Hood (Models: S0721 and S0730 Series).
Care and Cleaning
After disconnecting power, wipe the fan blade with a
moist cloth or sponge to remove any dirt buildup. Always
replace filter after cleaning in mild detergent solution.
After 6 months use, replace filter. Use #921 lamp bulb
(Newmar part #35934) for 12 DC fan units. Never attempt
to clean lamp bulb while it is hot.
Before servicing or cleaning unit, switch power o
ff
at
the service panel and lock service disconnecting means
to prevent power from being switched on accidentally.
When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked,
securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a
tag, to the service panel.
