WAN Settings
This page can be used to configure WAN specific settings like the Maximum Segment Size
(MSS). The MSS corresponds to the largest amount of data (in bytes) that the router can
handle in a single, unfragmented TCP segment. In order to avoid any negative side effects
the number of bytes in the data segment and the headers must not add up to more than the
number of bytes in the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU). The MTU can be configured per
each interface and corresponds to the largest packet size that can be transmitted.
