3-24 Disassembly and Reassembly
Power Supply Removal
Remove the power supply by following these steps.
!
WARNING
Before removing the system unit cover, turn off the power
and unplug the system power cable. Power is removed only
when the power cable is unplugged.
1.
Power off the system and remove the left side cover (see “Removing the
Side Covers”).
2.
Remove the drive cage (see “Removing the Drive Cage”).
3.
Label and disconnect power cables connected to the system board.
4.
Label and disconnect the power cables connected to all internal peripheral
devices.
5.
Support the bottom of the power supply and remove the four screws that
secure the power supply to the rear of the chassis.

6.
Remove the power supply from the system.
