Removing a Termination Board
If your system has one processor and you are adding a second processor, then
you must remove the termination board in the empty Slot 1 secondary
connector.
Remove the termination board by following these steps.
1.
Squeeze the tabs on the top of the termination board bracket toward each
other to release them from the retention mechanism.
2.
While still holding the tabs, pull the termination board bracket out of the
retention mechanism.

3.
Pull the termination board out of the processor socket (see the figure on the
following page).
