BIOS Recovery Jumper Block JP15 Settings

Function

Jumper Pins

Description

Normal

1 and 2

Factory setting. Sets the system for
normal operation. The BIOS uses
current configuration information and
passwords at power on.

Recovery

open for 10
seconds

To enable BIOS recovery for a
corrupted system, remove the
jumper. Wait 10 seconds. Replace
the jumper on pins 1 and 2.

Safe BIOS
Mode

2 and 3

Restores Safe BIOS settings as the
default BIOS settings and loads the
BIOS Setup at power on.

CMOS Clear

CMOS Clear jumper block JP19 is a three-pin jumper block for restoring
the CMOS settings to the factory state. Descriptions for each JP19 jumper
setting are provided in the following table.
