Problem of Windows installation

Unable to create a partition when installing Windows Server 2012 R2
Is the following message displayed?

The message above means that you failed to create a partition.
In this case, delete the partition you attempted to create, and then create a new partition. If you
have connected a data disk to a partition, be careful not to delete that partition.

Is the target drive properly installed?

Make sure that the drive is installed securely and that cables are properly connected.
Is the format of the drive supported in your boot mode?
→
The supported disk formats differ as follows depending on the boot mode of BIOS settings.

UEFI
GUID partition table (GPT)
Legacy BIOS
Master boot record (MBR)
For example, the following message is displayed if you install the OS to an MBR drive with UEFI
mode.
If you change the format, the data of drive is cleared and a new partition is created. Before
creating a new partition, be sure to backup the necessary data.
Did you configure the RAID controller?

For the RAID system, use EXPRESSBUILDER or RAID Configuration Utility (LSI Software RAID
Configuration Utility) to properly configure the RAID controller before installing OS.
Did you create a logical drive?
→
For the RAID system, create a logical drive using EXPRESSBUILDER or RAID Configuration
Utility (LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility) to install OS.
