3-10 Setting Up Your Server
Installing the Rail Assemblies
Make sure of the right side rail assembly or the left one when installing it. See the figure below.
1.
Loosen a screw securing the rail assembly.

Align the front and rear frames of rail assembly to the location where the cage nuts are
installed.
Locate the rail assembly so that the frame of the rack is located between cage nuts and
frames of rail assembly.
NOTE:
Confirm that the portion of the frame to fix the rail assembly is
located in front of the rack frame.
3.
Firmly secure the rail assembly.
