Basic PMS Setup

system to a third-
party PMS system?

Make sure your
system has an LAPB
PCB installed.
In 2801, for Modem No. enter 1.
For DCI No. , enter the software
port number of the DCI connected
to the PMS system.
In 2802, be sure the PMS system
is assigned to the same Tenant
Group as the Hotel mode
telephones.
Is the DCI port used
for PMS set up in
programming?
In 1201 register 65, set
parameters to match
settings of connected PMS.
In 1201 register 66, set
RTS to disabled (1), DTR
and CD to on (0) and
disable flow control (0).
In 1202, assign port type
and subtype for DCI port
used for PMS.
In 1203, be sure PMS DCI and
Hotel mode telephones are in
same Tenant Group.
!! Initialize DCI port
used for PMS !!
Use program 1206 or
Service Code 880.
