Basic phone functions
Making a call from Call History:
1. In the Phone Dialer screen, tap
Call History
.
2. To select the number you want to call, tap the desired number on the list. Alternatively,
scroll to the number by using the up/down navigation keys and press center navigation key
to select the number.
3. To call the number, tap Call on the task bar.
Call History
icons include:
Incoming calls
Outgoing calls
Missed calls
Making a Speed-Dial Call
1. In the dialer screen, tap to select the desired contact on the contact list. Tap the contact
again to enter or tap

Open Contact
.
2. Go to
Menu
> Add to
Speed Dial
3. The screen shows the selected contact’s information, such as Name, Number and
Location (i.e. the speed-dial key assigned to the contact).

To confirm your choice, tap ok.
You can also create a voice tag for speed dial:
1. Go to
Programs
>
Voice Speed Dial
.
2. Follow the instructions to record a voice tag (i.e. a simple sound as an instruction for
speed dial, such as “one”). When you press Stop
, the recorded utterance will be saved
to the assigned contact.
3. To make a voice speed dial, simply say the voice tag to the dialer.
Checking your Voice Mail
By default, the first
Speed Dial
location is your voice mailbox. When you insert your SIM card
into your MWg Atom Life, it will automatically detect and set the voice mailbox number of your
network operator.
On the Phone Dialer screen, tap
Speed Dial
and select
Voice Mail
, and then press
or
tap
Call
to call the voice mail center.
