FRONT FORK OVERHAUL

Remove the front wheel as described in the paragraph
”Front wheel removal” of this Chapter.

Support the motorcycle by the rear stand with special
tool.

Special tool No. 8000B9312

Stem removal

Loosen the 2 screws (

2

) from the steering base and

the screw (

3

) from the steering head.

During this phase, support the stem.
Slide out the stem, supporting it with both hands and
operating with caution so as not to drop it.
Proceed with the same operation for both stems.

Loosen the spring pre-load adjuster until you feel it
reach the end.
