WARNING
Hot oil.
Oil can contain combustion residues which are harmful to health.
Risk of injury and poisoning!
• Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles / safety mask.
• Avoid contact with skin.
• Do not inhale oil vapor.
Procedure without pump: Draining oil at drain plug(s) on oil pan
1.
Provide a suitable container in which to collect the engine oil.
2.
Remove drain plug(s) and drain engine oil.
3.
Install drain plug(s) with new sealing ring.
Procedure with pump: Extracting engine oil
1.
Provide a suitable container in which to collect the engine oil.
2.
Extract all oil from oil pan using the pump.
Draining residual oil from equip-
ment carrier (only with unsched-
uled engine oil change)
1.
Provide a suitable container in which to col-
lect the engine oil.
2.
Remove drain plug (1) and drain oil (ap-
prox. 7 liters) from oil heat exchanger and
oil filter.
3.
Remove drain screws (2) and (3) and drain
engine oil:
• (2) approx. 12 liters
• (3) approx. 5 liters
4.
Install drain screws(s) with new sealing
ring.
