Table 6-3 Step 3: Date and Time Settings attributes
Attribute Meaning
Current Time The current date and time setting for this unit.
To update this, select Set Date/Time .
Time Zone The time zone in which this unit operates.
Enable NTP If this is ticked, the PTP 250 will obtain accurate date and
time updates from a networked time server.
Time Server IP
Address The IP address of the networked NTP server.
Time Server Port The port number of the networked NTP server. By
convention the default value is 123.
Synchronization
Interval The interval at which the PTP 250 requests time correction
updates from the NTP server. If a request fails, the PTP 250
automatically performs three retries before waiting for the
next Synchronization Interval.
User Interface
Timeout The time that is allowed to pass without user activity before
the user is logged out.
