be needed.

200lbs /90kg. Not included in

ADJUSTMENT
Position the user in wheelchair and fasten the pelvic
support belt securely. With Monoflex properly adjusted
and the straps tightened, it should fit snug so the user’s
trunk is secure. Small adjustments in the fit are done
using the adjustment straps at the side release buckle.
A D-ring pull is provided for convenience when tight-
ening on the user. If further adjustment is necessary to
achieve a good fit or to remove the product, this can
be done using the slides.
SLING BACK WHEELCHAIR

Remove upper upholstery screws
from sling back wheelchair and attach
mounting plates. or Drill new holes
through upholstery into back tubes and
install mounting plates using included
selftapping screws.

Feed webbing through mounting
plates on both sides. Allow for 4” (10
cm) of adjustment straps for fitting at
side release buckles.

Position both slides on one webbing
end. Feed opposite webbing tail
through both slides.
SOLID BACK WHEELCHAIR

Wrap straps around backrest without obstructing
other devices on wheelchair. Mark holes for
reference.

Attach mounting hardware to backrest using self-
tapping screws or other mounting screws with a
minimum pullout strength of 200lbs /90kg.

Thread webbing through mounting plates. (Op-
tional mounting hardware such as Cinch-Mounts,
Flat-Mounts, or cam buckles are available from
Bodypoint.)
SAFETY CHECK
When properly positioned in wheelchair, have user
lean forward and side to side to check fit. Check for:
1. Normal operation of buckles and adjustment
straps.
2. Comfort – If any rubbing occurs relocate straps.
3. Position - If too high or too low, adjust mounting
location.
4. Interference with other devices – Relocate straps
as necessary to clear armrests, accessory pads, or
feeding tubes.

POSITIONING
Seat user in wheelchair and establish
correct posture with pelvic support belt.
Determine desired position for the chest
belt. Position lower over the belly for more
freedom of movement – position higher
over the chest for more trunk control.
When choosing position, consider interfer-
ence with other devices.
