Function
Description
Setting Limits
Rack Position
Identifies the position of the card within the rack. This is not user-configurable.
Sensor
Chooses temperature sensor for the zone(s) (J
or K-type).
Shutdown
Stage
Configures groups of zones into separate
shutdown groups.
There is a limit of six shutdown
groups.
Speed
Chooses or overrides the Auto-Speed setting to
determine the control characteristic for the zone
temperature.
Standby
(temperature)
Sets the Standby temperature for any zone.
The maximum Standby
temperature is 250°C or 450°F.
Startup Stage
Configures groups of zones into separate
startup groups.
There is a limit of six startup
groups.
T/C Offset
Value
Sets a proportional value between measured
and displayed temperature to compensate if a
thermocouple is not close enough to the probe
tip.
The highest T/C Offset
temperature is ±75°C or ±135°F.
T/C Open
Mode
Chooses a response for any zone that detects a
failed thermocouple:
Normal
– No action corrective taken. The zone
power sets to 0% and it shows a T/C fatal alarm.
Auto Manual
- The zone has enough data after
ten minutes of steady operation to switch to
Manual mode at a power level that should hold
the previous temperature.
Auto Slave
– The zone has sufficient data after
ten minutes of steady operation to slave the
failed zone to another similar zone.
Nominated Zone Slaving
– Allows the user to
specify a zone to act as a master for another
zone, if it were to fail.
Warning and
Alarm Levels
Sets the first (Warning) and second (Alarm)
stage alarms.
The maximum Warning or
Alarm value is 99°C or 178°F.
