Warning:
Make certain to remove only the T-pin at the head end that couples the imaging
top to the upper H-frame. Removing the wrong T-pin will result in the patient
being dropped.
NOTE: The anesthesiologist may now reconnect the patient circuit, monitors and IV
lines as necessary.
8.9.3 Attach the arm board mounting brackets and articulating arm boards at the
desired locations on the spinal top.
8.9.4 Carefully free the patient’s arms and position the arms on the arm boards;
the chest pad safety strap may be removed if necessary.
8.9.5 Pad and secure the arms onto the arm boards with the TLC arm cradles
and contact closure straps provided in the patient care kit.
8.9.6 With one person holding each end of the Radiolucent Imaging Top, the
attendant may remove the remaining safety straps that surround both
table tops.
Warning:
Verify that the four (4) T-pins holding the Jackson Spinal Surgery Top and the H-
frames to the crossbar are in place and secure before removing the safety straps.
Failure to do so may result in the patient being dropped.
