When the operation mode is in any mode
other than OFF, if you try to lock the doors by
pressing the driver’s door lock/unlock switch,
a warning lamp will blink and the outer
buzzer will sound for approximately 3 sec-
onds and you cannot lock the doors.

If the driver’s door is opened with the engine
stopped and the operation mode in any mode
other than OFF, the operation mode ON
reminder inner buzzer sounds intermittently
to remind you to put the operation mode in
OFF.

[Except for vehicles equipped with the key-
less operation system]
Remove the key at the “LOCK” position.
Turn the steering wheel until it is locked.
Turn the key to the “ACC” position while
moving the steering wheel slightly right and
left.
[For vehicles equipped with the keyless
operation system]
After pressing the engine switch and putting
the operation mode in OFF, when driver’s
door is opened, the steering wheel is locked.
• The ACC power auto-cutout function can
be deactivated.
