Check of inverter/ compressor

Yes

Start

Disconnect the lead wire from compressor, and turn on power supply.
Press the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.

Is output balanced?

After three minutes, clarify the causes by counting time until the inverter stops.
0 to 10 seconds: compressor rare short
10 to 60 seconds: compressor lock
60 seconds to 5minutes: refrigerant circuit defective
5 minutes or more: normal

After three minutes, measure the voltage
between each terminal of lead wire of compressor.

Is voltage output?

Turn OFF power supply and measure the
compressor winding resistance between
the compressor terminals.
Is the resistance 0.53

each terminal?

Replace the outdoor electronic
control P.C. board

Connect the lead wire to compressor, and turn ON power supply.
Press the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.

Replace the compressor.

1 • After the outdoor fan starts running, wait for 1 minutes or more before

measuring the voltage.

• The output voltage values have the tolerance of

20%.

Check of LEV

Yes

Start

Turn ON power supply to the outdoor unit after checking
LEV coil is mounted to the LEV body securely.

Do you hear LEV "click, click......"?
Do you touch LEV and feel it vibrate?

Disconnect the connector CN771 on
outdoor electronic control P.C. board, and
measure the resistance of LEV coil.

Replace the outdoor electronic
control P. C. board.

Replace the LEV coil.

Is LEV coil resistance
as per characteristics?

When OPERATION INDICATOR lamp flashes 10-time.

When OPERATION INDICATOR lamp flashes 5-time.
