1. Disconnect the lead wire from the compressor.
2. Turn ON power supply, opearate the unit in COOL
mode by pressing EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.
After three minutes, is the voltage 230V AC
between No.1 and No.2 at connector CN912 on
noise filter P. C. board?
1. Turn OFF power supply, and disconnect the connector CN851
on outdoor electronic control P. C. board.
2. Turn on power supply, opearate the unit in COOL
mode by pressing EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.
Replace the 4-way valve.
Replace the noise filter P. C. board.
After three minutes, is the voltage
12V DC between No.3(+) and No.4(-)
at connector CN851 on outdoor
electronic conrol P.C. board?

1 If the connector CN912 is not connected or R. V. coil is open, voltage
occurs between terminals even when the control is OFF.
Replace the outdoor
electronic control P. C. board.
• When cooling operation doesn't work.

2. Disconnect the connector CN912, and measure
the resistance of R. V. coil.
1. Turn off power supply and disconnect the
connector CN851 on outdoor electronic control P. C.
board.
2. Turn on power supply, opearate the unit in HEAT
mode by pressing EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.
Replace the 4-way valve.
Replace the noise filter P. C. board.
Replace the R. V. coil
After three minutes, is the voltage
12V DC between No.3(+) and No.4(-)
at connector CN851 on outdoor
electronic control P. C. board?
Replace the outdoor
electronic control P. C. board.
Is the resistance of R.V.
coil normal?
• When heating operation doesn't work.
