2-8. EXIT UNIT

(1) Removal of the Exit/Duplex Switching Unit

1. Remove the Rear Cover.

2. Open the Left Door.

3. Remove the Upper Left Cover.

4.

Remove four screws to free the Sorter Connector Assy.

5.

Unplug two connectors.

6.

Remove one screw and the ground wire.

7.

Snap off the E-ring from the shaft onto which the Exit/Du-

plex Switching Unit is mounted.

8.

Work the harness indicated by the arrow off the wiring

saddle.

9.

Remove one screw that holds the belt.

10. Remove two screws and the mounting bracket.

11. Remove the Exit/Duplex Switching Unit.
