Setting a Media
Setting leaf media
Unlike roll media, leaf media does not need to be retained with the roll holders.

Open the front cover.

Raise the clamp lever.

Insert the leaf media between the platen and the
pinch rollers.
• Set the media so that no media sticks out from the right end
pinch roller to the right side.
• Set the media so that the media end does not reach the slot
of the post-heater.
Notes about printing on leaf media
• When using leaf media, open the post cure unit to load the media. If you print with the post cure unit
closed, the edges of the media might become caught in the post cure unit and clog the printer.
• The ink might not cure depending on the print mode or the status of the LED UV. If the edge of the
media is in the post cure unit at such time, close the post cure unit. This will allow the ink to be cured
by the post cure unit.
• If the edge of the media becomes caught in the post cure unit because the post cure unit was closed
while printing, take the following actions:
(1) Open the post cure unit.
• Printing is cancelled when the post cure unit is opened.
(2) Feed the media, and then close the post cure unit.
(3) Press the key to restart printing.
