TRANSPORTING THE PRODUCT
●
Place the auto on/off switch in the OFF position.
●
Depressurise the product at the safety valve.
Transport the air compressor by the handle, as shown in the
picture section.
MAINTENANCE
Use only MILWAUKEE accessories and spare parts. Should
components that have not been described need to be replaced,
please contact one of our MILWAUKEE service agents (see
our list of guarantee or service addresses).
If needed, an exploded view of the product can be ordered.
State the product type and the serial number on the label, and
order the drawing at your local service centres.

TROUBLESHOOTING

does not run.
The battery is not
charged.
Recharge the
battery pack.
The pressure
switch is damaged.
Have the product
serviced by
an authorised
service centre.
The tank is full
of air.
The product turns
on when the tank
pressure drops to
cut-in pressure.
The internal
overload switch is
tripped.
Turn o
ff
the
product, and
allow it to cool
down. Reinstall
the battery pack.
The motor
hums but
cannot run or
runs slowly.
The motor winding
is shorted or open.
Have the product
serviced by
an authorised
service centre.
The check valve
or unloader is
defective.
The internal
overload switch
trips repeatedly.
Lack of proper
ventilation, or the
room temperature
is too high.
Move the product
to a well-
ventilated area.
There is an
electrical overload.
Turn o
ff
the
product, and
allow it to cool
down. Remove
and reinstall the
battery pack.
The air tank
pressure drops
when the
compressor
shuts o
ff
.
There are loose
connections
(
fi
ttings, tubing,
etc.).
Check all the
connections
with soap and
water solution,
and tighten the
connections.
The drain valve is
loose or open.
Tighten or close
the drain valve.
Have the product
serviced by
an authorised
service centre.
The check valve is
leaking.
DANGER!
Do not
disassemble the
check valve, tank
drain valves, or
safety relief valve
with air in the
tank. Bleed the
tank.
There is
excessive
moisture in the
discharge air.
There is excessive
water in the air
tank.
Drain the tank.
The humidity is
high.
Move to an
area that is less
humid, and use
an air line
fi
lter.
The compressor
runs
continuously.
The pressure
switch is defective.
Have the product
serviced by
an authorised
service centre.
The air usage is
excessive.
Decrease the air
usage, as the
product is not
large enough
for the tool’s
requirement.
The piston rings are
worn.
Replace the
piston rings. Call
customer service
for assistance.
