Check that the voltage, frequency
and fuse rating shown on the data
plate match the household mains
supply.
The power outlet must be accessible
after installation. Do not use an ex‐
tension cord to connect the dish‐
washer to the mains. Danger of over‐
heating! See data plate on the right
side of the door.
A damaged power cord must only be
replaced with a genuine Miele cord
by a Miele service technician.
Grounding instructions
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE
GROUNDED.
In the event of a malfunction or break‐
down, grounding will reduce the risk of
electric shock by providing a path of
least resistance for the electrical cur‐
rent. This appliance is equipped with a
cord having an equipment grounding
conductor and a grounding plug. The
plug must be plugged into an appropri‐
ate outlet that is installed and grounded
in accordance with all local codes and
ordinances.
Improper connection of the equip‐
ment grounding conductor can result
in electric shock.
Do not modify the plug provided with
the appliance; if it will not fit the out‐
let, have a proper outlet installed by
a qualified electrician.

The dishwasher comes equipped with a
4 ft (1.2 m) powercord (measured from
the rear of the dishwasher) with a mold‐
ed plug for connection to 120 V, 60 Hz,
15 A grounded receptacle.
