Chapter Overview
This chapter covers repairs to the SCM4000 Single Carrier
Modem, including which repairs can be done safely in the field
and which should only be performed at the MRC factory or an
authorized repair depot.
6.2
Supported Repairs
The SCM4000 is designed to be compact, rugged and reliable.
The SCM4000 requires specialized test equipment and software
to calibrate amplitude and frequency characteristics after repair.
There are NO supported field repairs to the SCM4000.
Return the entire unit for factory repair.
If you attempt field repair, you risk damaging your
equipment

If your equipment is under warranty, you may also
affect your warranty coverage.

MRC Technical Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. During regular business hours you can reach our expert
staff directly. After hours, your call will be forwarded to the on-call
Technical Support specialist.
