5.9.3. FM
The modulated waveform consists of two parts: the carrier and the modulating waveform. In FM, the frequency of the carrier varies
with the instantaneous voltage of the modulating waveform.

To Set Frequency Deviation
Press
FM Dev
to highlight the parameter, and then use the numeric keyboard or arrow keys and knob to input the desired value.
The deviation should be equal to or less than the carrier frequency.
The sum of the deviation and the carrier frequency should be equal to or less than maximum frequency of the selected
carrier waveform.

The methods of setting other parameters of FM are similar to AM.
